I feel good about my lunch out experience today. I was able to look at the restaurant's menu on-line (no nutrition info, but I plugged in some numbers and estimated), and when I got there, I asked for the entrée I'd pre-chosen, asked for the minor modifications I wanted, and was all set to go. The food was pretty salty, so I imagine my rings will be a little tight tomorrow, but lots of water should flush out the extra sodium. Ate what was on my plate, didn't even feel tempted by dessert, and now I still have calories left for a decent dinner!
I love it when the effort to investigate, plan and follow through pays off!
