Yes, it's true. I've been playing at losing/maintaining my weight since August 2012. My hips hurt then, so instead of taking a 3-4 day break and getting back on the wagon, I took the easy way out and just stopped my regular walking regime. Then it was a 3 week vacation, with some (but not enough) walking and too much eating. Then it was Christmas. A late December visit to friends landed 4 more pounds on these old hips (and other places), and I could tell things were on a downhill slide.
So today is the day....an early morning walk UPHILL that I haven't done but once since August. Surprisingly my time wasn't as bad as I'd expected. A healthy breakfast. A good night's sleep last night. 20 points on the SP bonus wheel. All these positives should help me keep on track for TODAY. I think it was yesterday I read a blog here that gave me a boost....just worry about today. Good advice for life, not just eating/exercising etc.
