Yesterday my husband and I went to Santa Monica. We did alot of walking around running some necessary errands and enjoyed a yummy lunch at panera. Spent some time on the beach which did wonders for me emotionally and physically.
Today in contrast has been one of stress. With most of my collauges out last week for the holidays and I was off site most of the week, the backlog all hit today. While I have finally got my head above the water line again, I am feeling stressed. My new response has been to go for a walk, but that is not possible. I am taking a 10 minute break now so I can focus for the rest of the day. I know this is only short term. I am trying to keep my focus on being thankful I have a job, not only that helps pay bills, but gives me experiences for my master's program and I enjoy what I do.
Thankfully dinner tonight is already planned and is simple to put together. Looking forward to a calmer day tomorrow where I can get more work done without interuptions of clients.
