this is the first blog of the new year reveiewing the last and setting out the new goals for this year,
well, last year started well until i had surgery on my shoulder i kept to my diet i did`nt lose much weight but by the end of the year i did`nt gain any either which was a good resut, this will be my year over christmas and new year i lost 3 pounds due to a nasty bug i caught so that has spurred me on to set myself the biggest target i have ever done before, my body is going through a change so i thought i would try to lose thhe weight to make me feel better too. my target this year is to lose 100 pounds that is my ideal weight i would love to be that again

That is a big goal but I believe that you can do it if you really want it. You should break it down into smaller goals say around 8 pounds a month or whatever. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Just a word of caution - I lost 100 pounds in a year BUT regained 80 of them the next year. My doctor cautioned me to go "slow and steady" if I expected the loss to last. I didn't believe her at first, but now I do.
Hopefully, you can successfully meet your goal and maintain it. I wish I could have!
Stay positive!

Setting a goal weight for the year is great, now you need to break it down to how much monthly, this way you can keep track if you are on target. After 3 months I usually take a look at how I am going and readjust my goal to fit how my body and I are coping.
