SP is a wonderful support system. It is a reliable and easy way to log food and exercise. SP friends, chosen because their stories ring a bell with us, help us as we help them. Updating status and writing a blog helps us to get in touch with how we are doing and make us analyse how we could do better. Seasonal challenges inspire that extra effort in us.

SP is also FUN! It's a way to play games, compete with earning points, while also learning so much about being fit and healthy.

For me, SP has been invaluable for the first things I mentioned, and a time trap for the second things. And after writing my goals for the year I realised that I need to use my (almost two hours a day) SP "points" time on tasks and activities to meet my other life goals.

I apologise to my teams for backing out of the points-earning activities, but I want other successes in my life.

I hope that my SP friends, readers of my blogs, my Weight-loss Challenge Team and my own body appreciate the added effort and quality of my focus in the 12 months to come... and I look forward to realising many of my goals that have, until this moment, only been daydreams.

I totally understand. I am on the internet WAY too much. I still get in my 2 hours a day of exercise, but there are other things even if it is reading or doing some crafty work. I do learn so much getting my points though. And while sparking it keeps me from eating :)

I totally understand. If I'm sitting on SP all day, I'm not getting my exercise done. emoticon emoticon
