I have not been Sparking regularly for a while now. I honestly can't say how long it's been since I've logged in daily to check in on my friends and use the tools here. I have been very busy with work, homeschooling the kids and just life in general but I feel very unfocussed in my life right now. There are so many goals that I have pushed to the back burner in the last year, such as, once again, tabling my half-marathon attempt. I've struggled with pain and tightness in my left hamstring so I stopped running because, quite frankly, running makes it hurt. I'm also experiencing some foot pain in my right foot that is undiagnosed for now. To top it all off, it's winter and the short daylight hours really get to me, especially when we have a lot of cloudy weather.
On the plus side (yes, there an up side), I had a good annual review of my performance at work and will get a raise in a few weeks. Also, I haven't quit exercising and I managed to keep my eating mostly under control and I finished the year lighter than I started it. Yay!!
In the interest of accomplishing some things this year and getting rid of the "unfocussed" feeling, I am participating in Chalene Johnson's 30 Day PUSH challenge. It's about priorities and goal setting and becoming more productive. So many people have said such good things about the program that I figured it couldn't hurt! :)
