I feel good this year about making a change to workout again and realize what I am putting into my body. I love veggies so I am sure to add garlic and a little olive oil so I can enjoy them, even over healthier pasta. I am not a bread eater so a little pasta now and then. Whole grains are terrific but I can only take so much. One of my favorite fun foods is making long grain oatmeal with dark chocolate chips and cinnamon. What a great way have a healthy treat! Crazy, huh?

My husband is supportive but he is such a food junky. I avoid it MOST of the time but sometimes I give in. The funny thing is that when I buy some healthy alternatives everyone wants to eat them. The problem is that healthy foods are expensive and I am constantly seeking employment.

I am happy to be part of the SparkPeople January challenge. It is a great place for support and I do enjoy participating.
