Push That Tush -- Here comes the sun

Friday, January 04, 2013

Did my stairs and a SparkPeople Total Body Sculpting video (Barre)
The weather is a bit strange today...
One minute it looks like it's headed for snow (and my back starts aching)
the next minute the sun is shining and I want to conquer the world.
Just goes to show you how much the weather affects my mood.
I guess I'm one of those people who thrives on sunshine
{ good thing I have a 9 foot window in my living room...
It makes it feel like a solarium }

Wishing all a great weekend....
Keep Pushing that tush.

Loved the comment about being "solar powered"... me too!
We cut a large hole in our ceiling to install a skylight... It is great!
I want sunshine in every room.
Thanks for your blogs, Sheryl!

I've always joked that I'm solar powered! Sun's out, I'm great. Once it get dark, or if it's overcast, all I want to do is sleep!

We have many windows in our house but none 9 foot - the biggest probably about 6 or 7 foot - the rest just nice sized windows, but everyone of them needs washing.
Can't they make windows that will stay clean!

I understand about the sun and moods. That's one of the reasons I uprooted myself and moved to Florida. It's sunny most of the time here and I'm hoping that will keep me from my yearly seasonal affective disorder.

Good work on your exercise!

I did over 60 minutes on a stationary bike at the gym. I do like the stairs in the home idea for days I cant or dont feel like going to the gym.

I have to agree the weather sure effects our moods . thanks for the reminder we need to push our tush since better weather is on the way and we want to look good in our summer wear. in the winter we can often blame the winter coat for our bulgely look !

  Hi Sheryl.........
I, too, am totally motivated by lots of sunshine. When we moved to the country, we both decided that the only curtains or other window treatments we would put up, would be in the bedrooms. We have lived here 14 years now and still only have bedroom curtains and love it. When the sun shines, the entire house lights up and I love it. I am much more motivated!!!
Have a great weekend.

Bonus 2 minutes of sunshine each day (of course, that's WHEN the sun decided to emerge! LOL Enjoying the sun being out here today.)

Keep on pushing! It's worth the effort. LOVE the duckie!

I need the sunshine too. Have you ever tried wearing your sunglasses when its cloudy? I have found that if I do that, I don't frown as much, and that 'overcast headache' goes away. I don't know if that would help you too.
