Focus on fitness, not size

Read a great article this morning, based on a recent study. For those who spend hours working out yet still battle their weight, the article says to keep on keeping on. Focus on your fitness, not on the numbers shown on the scale. A longer life will be the result of your exercise.

    Thanks for the reminder. Most of us tend to focus too much on the scale. Although the scale is important it's not the only sign of progress. Your measurements and fitness level also change over time. You notice changes at visits to the doctor too like lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol. All of those things add up to a healthier you.
