Happy Friday everyone!! I'm making plans for the weekend, planning my meals and planning my activities. I do really well during the week because i'm busy at work and i really don't have time to think about it. But the weekend are always a challenge. I've learned that i need to be proactive in making sure that i don't fall off the wagon. So i take an extra few minutes to have a plan over the weekend. I already know that tomorrow i want to take my son out for some play time, i'm thinking a drive to the mountains is in order. So i have to plan healthy meals on the go! Check, i can do that. Also i'm having friends over for dinner Sunday, i plan and making baked tacos. They are easy and delicious! Plus who doesn't like tacos! I don't track on weekends and that to is a challenge, but i'm very very cautious about my portions. I eat everything on a dessert plate and i never go back for seconds. I think this trick help me lose over the Holidays because i never "Over" Indulged but i did indulge believe me, but i didn't go crazy. Also my Moto if you play you pay. Meaning you eat that donut you better add more minutes to your workout...lol that has also helped me too. Here's is a typical lunch that i pack for work.....
Oatmeal, Banana for breakfasts
Left overs, today i'm having Chili 1 cup
2 pm snack cottage cheese and apple
and those are my energy bites that if i'm feeling hungry i pop in my mouth and drink a glass of water.
