Last day of paid vacation. Today, tomorrow and Sunday and then back to the amazing race! But who's counting? I am trying hard to maintain a relaxed state. I did nothing all break. A conscious choice. Trying to decompress. Now there are some things I need to do to make my transition more successful. Preparations. Yesterday I went out and about looking for clothing for work. It's a very specific task. I wear a "uniform" to work. Khaki pants, skirts or dresses. White or a very specific forest green collared shirt. So, looking for work clothes requires a lot of searching. The search can be fast. I can look at a rack for color and size quickly. I can run into a store, look at all the racks and be out of there in a hurry if nothing is available, BUT, it requires a lot of in and out of stores! I will have to step out to the stores today as well. I will go to the store that carries forest green polo shirts. Not my most feminine option, but it gets the job done.
More importantly I need to sort my school paperwork that got dumped into my office on the Friday before Christmas and left.
So simply stated - Today's goals
> organize school clothes
> organize school papers
> take a walk
> eat lots of veggies
> drink lots of water
> get back on my sleep schedule (in bed by 9)
That will ease my mind and help a great deal with the transition. So . . . here I go!
Have a great day and continue working toward a terrific 2013!
