My last blog entry was about how gaining weight wastes time. Seems I completely forgot about that when faced with all the holiday junk that I did not bother bypassing. So my little weight slider went from having lost 27 pounds to being back to having lost 16 pounds. I take it off little by little, and can put it on with hardly any effort at all.
SO, I'm done whining and back on track. The cold I have is because I was eating so poorly, and it's time to be on the mend and achieve my goals to the point I need to only worry about maintenance.
OVERALL GOAL: Lose 37.6 pounds. To continue with my weight loss efforts, I need to get rid of 37.6 pounds.
BREAKDOWN OF OVERALL GOAL: Lose 20 pounds by the end of March. We may be headed across the country to go to a relative's wedding, and I'd like to show up looking and feeling better than I do today.
SECOND GOAL: Participate in three 5K's, running all the way through at least one.

I look forward to attaining these goals this year. My exercise begins next week once my cold subsides and I can breathe better. It is the cold winter here in Ohio, so I'm going to bundle up to take walks, take some Zumba classes at our YMCA, and do some 10-minute spurts of exercise here at home in order to add up to at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week.
