2012 was physically very difficult with 3 surgeries to go through and recover from. I had a weight gain and had to get refocused over and over to getting the exercise I need and had worked up to before I had health problems. Bob and I are in the swing of walking to the Y three mornings a week in the early morning. We come across a woman who has physical challenges every morning at 5 without fail. Yes, we've failed to be there, but she hasn't! She told us this morning that she walks several miles early every morning and has done so for the past 8 years. We marvel at her amazing streak! She exclaimed to us that she feels great! We wonder how mobile she would be if it weren't for her dedicated daily walks? Which made me think of how vital it is for my health to keep walking and exercising to stay mobile!
My biggest goal is to stay faithful to exercise and also to get off of sugar. Did it twice before for two years each time. I feel better and as sugar is s huge problem for me, it will help me with my eating plan.
I am encouraged by my goals and determination. Our son left yesterday to go with friends on a skiing adventure to several ski mountains in our state before heading back to college so we are empty nesters yet again. It's fine. It's actually GOOD!
