Sounds like you're back on track, so I guess that the weight will soon come back off. Good luck to you.

Someone else said sodium which is what I was thinking. If I eat chips(crisps) my weight goes up a pound or 2 for a few days. Make sure you're drinking enough water to flush out the sodium, etc. Sounds like you have done well so far. emoticon emoticon

The holidays weren't good to me, either. We're all starting out fresh in the new year. Good luck to you.

You do not celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas? We will not be done until after Sunday. I do not know how much I have gained this Holiday Season, but I will get back with my program soon. This is not the first time I have gained then lost weight with a holiday.

I ate too much on New Year's eve. My weight was up. Then I did a few things right, and now it's better. I believe that you will find the same shortly. Focus on the right actions and allow yourself to feel good about doing the right thing. The results will follow. emoticon

Keep at it. I gained over the holidays, too, but have already dropped 3 pounds.

At lease you knew where you were headed. Think about the people who don't realize they've put on pounds until sometime after Valentine's Day!!!!

Your post is EXACTLY what I went through on New Year's day!! It's what everyone goes through if they get caught up in the holiday. I just hope you can keep on keeping on and move through this "silly little" setback (which may seem like a mountain)!!!!!!!!!!!! A friend of mine always says "Don't let the scale effect your mood. Just move!" I always go do something (cuz I have a stationary bike) and it makes me feel better.

Hope this helps! All the best

You are going to be a okay. You know what happened.....the holidays rolled around and you ate foods you do not normally eat. I was right there with you. Now you are doing what you know you need to do.....keep moving forward.

Each day will get better.
