Happy New Year! I hope all is well in your world!
Well my friends, I'm beginning the new year with a holiday weight gain of....(drum roll, please!))
Yikes! How the heck did that happen?!! Uh, NOT a surprise! I know EXACTLY how it happened! I took my eye off the ball for not 1 week, but 2! The first week my family was here visiting, my focus was on them & not me. I didn't exercise or track or even THINK about watching what I put in my mouth. We went out to eat, & I cooked & baked. Enough said. So what happened after they left? Did I get back on track? Uh, no. Oh, I half heartedly tried, mind you. But my appetite was stuck on "crazy" by then...& it was difficult to rein in! I did get back to my exercise tho, thank goodness! And I'm going full force with it now! It's my saving grace!!!
So, I get on that scale at WW's yesterday & I see a weight gain of 4.4 lbs! Yikes! Okay, so I stay for the meeting & get centered. Ahhhhhh, it did it for me! I was renewed & psyched for the new year! I'm thinking again.....I can DO this!
I'm giving myself 26 weeks to lose 25 lbs. The target date is July 20, 2013. I said it here first! Of course, the plan is...
*Stay in caloric range everyday!
*Focus & mindful eating!
*Move my body!
*MORE fruits & veggies!
Alright! Let's get to it! Shoot for the stars, my friends...the sky's the limit!!! We CAN do it!
