Fabulous Friday

Friday, January 04, 2013

Have made it through the holidays with little/no weight gain. That's a surprise! We keep taking steps towards our goals. Wait...I'll get on the scale in the AM and show an huge increase emoticon . I have been fluctuating up and down around a pound or two. Better than packing on 5 - 10 pounds over the holidays. Interesting how I missed some of the heathier foods. Missed some of the veggies I usually have. Interesting.

Co-worker comes back Monday. I've made it through the weeks without her. It's been busy at times but we made it through it far. We'll see what today brings emoticon

One of my goals is a box of Christmas things packed each weeknight until I get it all packed up. If I want to do more on the weekend that's OK. Want to organize the boxes some as I usually just pack it in on top of everything. Maybe condense some things and get rid of things that don't work any more.

Off to have a great day!

No news on job application. Gets me how you never hear yeh or nay anymore. Guess they get too many applications now days. Oh well we keep plugging and looking around to see what is out there. At least I have a job while I'm looking. Last year my goal was to change my attitude....and that didn't work so figured it was time to look around.

Hi! Congrats on maintaining over the holidays.
Your goal of packing away one box at a time resonated with me. It's such a simple idea that can't NOT work for me. I've been looking around and feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of the job, instead of just breaking it down into manageable parts. One of those DUH moments. Good luck to you, thanks for the sharing

I was really waiting to hear from you this morning and wanted to hear update of you and DH job search. I really believe it opens up in January because of budgets. Maybe I am old school?

A pound or two weight flux is, mm, mm good!

You are on the right track. A few pounds up or down is much better than gaining 5 or 10 pounds. You have to keep shooting those resumes out and wait and wait. You will succeed!
