Today I am 10lbs lighter in this New Year, (I always like to start my diet in Dec. so I can start the New Year losing and not gaining) 80 lbs is my goal for the first half of the new year! So I have 70 more to go and that feels good and in Feburary I will have 60, so I'm doing a countdown as a way to motivate me. In March I have a wedding to attend to so I have a goal of losing 40 before the wedding!!!

To everyone reading out in Sparkland I challenge you to take the excitement of a NEW YEAR with you throughout the year! March .... June..... August.... October ... December is also significant to this New Year, we could not have a complete NEW YEAR without all 12 months! So let create goals for each month and make every step along the way significant!

January is my birth-month so I'm excited all month long!

The latter end of March is a family wedding! I already found my dress and I want to buy it in a size 18!!!!! So FEB. will prepare me for this goal!!!

April & May will be the two months I am in FOCUS of my trip to barbados with some gurls I have yet to meet so, surely I don't wanna be the one that has to restrict my activties because my weight is too heavy.... I heard in order to particiate in some of the water sports you had to be less than 250lbs so how embrassing if that was to go down!!!

The Barbados trip is in JUNE!

SO that leaves July and August will be the prelude to my first year in my dream job as a teacher.... that will put me at almost a 100lb weight loss!! So Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec will be an opportunity to assure myself that I will have lost over 100lbs before my next birthday in Jan. 2014 AWESOMMMMMMMMMMME!!!!!

    I have also set up a monthly goal plan. The challenge I have given myself is the Little Black Dress challenge. I have a LBD that has been hanging in my closet for years and I promised myself that this is the year I will be wearing that dress. April 1 is my deadline...I will be in that dress! You have your plan down to a science, good luck and I just know that with your enthusiasm emoticon

    I am trying to make little goals as well! I didn't think about making monthly goals though, I love that idea and might have to use it as well. Weddings are such a fun thing to look foward to, I am sure you will do it, also you better take some photos of yourself in it ;-)
Don't forget to take measurements too! That way you can track your non-scale victories! I love when I lose inches!!! emoticon
