Kick Start... and We are off & running!!!

Today my local gym started it's annual fitness program for the public: Kick Start. As part of the "kick-off", I had to do a pre-assessment to measure my current fitness level & stamina. Of course, there will be a post-assessment after the 10 weeks, and I certainly hope that I see some major improvement by then!

Here are my "pre-assessment" results:

Sit & Reach: 13.5 inches
Wall Pushups: 26 reps
Full Squats: 20 reps
Low Cable Rows: 46 reps
Plank: 27 seconds
Shuttle Run: 8 lengths

Boy, am I extremely out of shape! I used to be much more flexible... my sit & reach used to be 16+ inches. Pushups & squats have never been my strong suit, but the plank... wow, I used to be able to hold that for at a minute! I have got to work on improving these by the end of the program.
