I got my new hearing aids today....and I am stunned at how much stuff that I was missing! I think tomorrow's task is to pull the fridge out and see why the heck it is so loud!!!!!
Congrats! I can't imagine how life would be without hearing all the weird sounds I can hear that my husband can't. Might be your fridge needs a good cleaning! =)
That's cool...I just called the Audiology section at Sam's today, because they're offering free audiology screenings...45 min of tests, not just something quick. I know what my problem is, but I can't afford to fix it. But, it appears that now there are hearing devices that are "smart" enough to amplify voice and de-amplify surrounding noise...exactly what I need.
Great! Good for you! I only have one but it's about 8 years old and probably should be replaced soon, At least now insurance companies are paying for them. Enjoy all those beautiful sounds!
