Yesterday was my first "good food" day in a while. Today is going to be my second. I think I'm over the "it's Christmas, so I want that treat" mentality. I didn't get much sleep last night. I worked late, and with the commute, I didn't get to bed until 2am. I was able to nap after everyone went off to school, but had to get up earlier than I wanted due to dentist appointments for the twins.

I didn't skip my workout, like the December me would have. I tried the UFC kinect game. I think I still have to explore that some more. I learned some punches, but I want to skip to a good workout. Most of the 15 minutes was spent stretching or warming up. Not what I was looking for, so I added a 20 min Zumba workout.

So, I feel good, a little less sore than yesterday. I do feel like I'm fumbling around trying to figure things out again, but I'll get there.

    I'm thinking I might steal the kids' Wii for myself. Have to look into which games are actually fun to do

    emoticon I started doing strength training every other day, thanks to my oldest daughter. I'm always more sore the second day after lifting, but by then it's time to lift again. emoticon I've done well with maintaining my exercise regime and I feel good about that. I took my measurements today and they were the same or slightly smaller so we'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

It's not easy sticking with good eating and exercise with a house full of kids. We had dentist appointments and doctors appointments over the break, too!

You are doing great...one day at a time!
