Or woman, if you will. I've been toiling at my ridiculously horribly organized job for four months now, and I'm so damned happy that I've only got three more months left. I swear, if it were much longer, I'd snap and kill someone (well, probably not, but it's getting more boring and ridiculous by the day, and I HATE seeing the same people in the store every. single. day. Get a hobby!). Please do note that I've never claimed to be a people person...
On the bright side, and isn't there always one, that means that lovely, lovely Perth is a mere three and a half months away, and I'm so excited!! Everything's booked except for accommodations, and I've got my eye on a sweet spot or two for that.
So, how'd everyone get through the holidays? I've found that having to work lunatic hours in retail is a great diet device, as it prevents you from going to enjoy booze and greasy foods at the Christmas markets pretty much, um, all the time. Santa brought me TurboJam, which I started last week, and his friend, the Pre-Christmas elf, had already left me with TurboFire and Les Mills' Combat, which I'm looking forward to immensely.
Besides that, I'm reading a very cool fairytale by Neil Gaiman, entitled Stardust, and my musical love affair with my tragically dead Aussie ghost continues strong, though the dreams have become much less frequent (if one can call gaps of six months frequent).
We're currently hosting two guest rabbits that belong to an ex-colleague of mine, and I have to admit to being somewhat out of my expertise here. However, despite a minor health scare that turned out to be nothing, at least we now know that one of the boys is really a girl. I have my suspicions about the other one... our very elderly cat had to go in for a tooth cleaning this morning, and fortunately, everything went off without a hitch. She returned, ravenous, and proceeded to scarve down half a can of cat food!
I'm also happy that last year's greeting card exchange yielded a lot of lovely Christmas cards, even though not everyone decided to send one back (lazy bastards!) and will definitely be repeated this year! So, if you want to be nearer to the pulse of Vyv Time, PM me and let's hook up on Facebook.
Ok, boys and girls... your turn!
