Well, here it is, a new year, a new start!
I am trying to change my attitude a little bit with my resolutions. I want to lose the 40 pounds I gained with my insulin pump and don't want to give up on that goal, but I also want to focus on being the healthiest Towanda I can be at any weight. In doing that I am bound to be successful even if my weight doesn't change. To that end here are my primary goals:

Exercise 4 days a week for at least 30 minutes. (Monday AM, Wednesday PM, Thursday PM and Friday PM)
Eat five freggies a day.
Drink my water.
Work on my self care skills daily.
Read two books a month.
Blog regularly.

Does anyone use the spark coach program? Do you think it's worth the money? What about the fitbit? I'm thinking about both ideas.

    I like SparkCoach. I've been using the site on and off for a few years but haven't really stuck to it. I signed up because I feel that it is helping me use the site more effectively each day. Realistically everything except the videos and positive feedback and suggestions are already part of the site, but the site is so vast that the Coach orders them in a way that is helpful to my situation. I'm part of the weight loss program on the Coach, so it started me over with Fast Breaks and now I'm in Healthy Eating. I'd go ahead and try it for the free week and see what you think based on that. It was around $9 a month for me after the promotional period is over. Different people seem to get different offers though, so if you are lucky maybe it will offer you a heavily discounted year subscription. My promotion was $15 for the first three months. Still worth it to me.

    I also want a Fitbit. I want it primarily for tracking my sleep, which is something that I'm not aware other trackers do. I haven't decided when I will let myself get one.

    I am using the Body Media Core and I like it too. It and Fitness Pal. You might try teh Fitbit because it and Sparks work together.

    I haven't used the Fitbit, but i adore the Body Media Fit! It has definitely been worth it for me.
