Renewed focus -- 2013

Renewed focus is my mantra for the first quarter of 2013. The last 5 months of 2012 was not so much! Stress with finances and children took it's toll on ME. I was very successful since starting my program using this simple philosophy --- "Make sure you treat yourself with importance - your schedule always comes first!" That got away from me after 8/11/12 when things started to unravel. I stepped on the scale this morning after 2 weeks of indulging with friends and family for the holidays and 5 months of not focusing on me. My lowest was 219 on 8/11/12 - today I am at 230.4. My official weigh in and ticker adjustment will be made Monday 1/7/13. I am using the next 4 days to track, adjust, reflect, plan, and execute my first quarter plan. I will start a streak -- I will adjust my meal plans to add more fruits and vegetables -- I will schedule some meditation time to keep my focus clear -- I will change the look of my SP Page to add some pics -- I will decide on some specific goals and rewards and add them to my SP Page so I see them everytime I log in. I will be even MORE successful in 2013 than I was in 2012. My journey may take years but each day I sign on to SP and read the blogs of my SP friends and others, I know that I have come so much further than I was this time last year.

    There are so many positive affirmations here, and you WILL do this. I'm sorry that things got crazy for you, but one thing you've learned is that you do have to put yourself first, and coming back here, rather than throwing up your hands or throwing in the towel, is a sure sign that you have determination.
    I like your idea of changing up your SP page. I've seen others do that and I think it's a great idea.
    I'm so glad to see you on! This will be an amazing year for both of us!

    Aww man, looks like we ARE in sync again. I hoped you wouldn't gain like me. My low was also 219 or 219.5 and I got up to 230. But last time I checked I was down to 228.5 and I'm hoping to see something good this weekend when I weigh. So now let's stay in sync!! :) We will see the 2-teens again VERY SOON!!! And in a couple months...Onederland! I'm with ya! Same with the meditation and everything. :) We rock and 2013 we will make AWESOME!
