Day 2

Day 2 went well, still no coffee and no white carbs. I did break down in the afternoon and had 2 ritz crackers with peanutbutter. Considering there are cookies and chocolate in the house it could have been a lot worse :)
My meals were similar to yesterday, except for dinner
Breakfast: eggwhite, strawberry and spinach smoothie, pot of Devonshire English breakfast tea
Snack: 1/3 cup of almonds
Lunch: 3 oz cold salmon with spinach salad
Snack: citrus mix, pot of Darjeeling tea
Naughty: 2 small ritz crackers w/ peanut butter
Dinner: 3oz cold salmon mixed with 1/2 diced apple, pecans, shredded spinach and 1 teasp of ranch dressing

Ok, that's a lot of spinach but I bought 2 bags last week and it needs eating up :)

So far the challenge is sticking. I believe I am the all-or-nothing type, cold turkey works for me. Limiting, rather than eliminating doesn't work for me - I know myself and a little bit of that here and there adds up to failure. I have also learned the first time around on this plan that 1 day "off" takes 4 days to recover from, so not worth it!
I firmly believe that it's 80% in the mind and thanks to this challenge my head is in the right place to make it happen! (I know, it's early days yet...)
