Woo hoo the sun is back!

I am just so happy to see the sun. It's not warm yet...chilly for us here in central 55. But I think the sun will at least warm things up today.

Today I wanted to say how important I think the food tracker here is. I log my food every day. It takes a while to build up your favorites and your own database but once you do it's easy to add foods. It's also easy to copy a meal from one day to the next. I am boring as I eat just about the same thing every day but that is just me and I am satisfied and happy with my meals. Can't say enough about eating egg whites and egg beater to satisfy hunger.

So do you all track your food and share your trackers? If not, I highly recommend really keeps me focused and makes me think hard before I put something in my mouth knowing I have to track it!!! That is the rule I have made for myself that works. If I eat it, I track it...good or bad. I love that I can actually look back a year and see what I ate and such. I wish the food trackers on sparks were kept for many years but I think it's only a year or so.

Anyway, make it a great day....and start tracking if you don't.

    Thanks for the tracker reminder. I agree that it really does make a difference!

    We have lots of snow, and not much sun here, but it's supposed to get into the low 30's today and maybe the sun will peek through the clouds. I hope to bask in the sunshine during my lunchtime walk today.

    I'm in the South West & 50 high today! But Lot's of SUN, praise Goddess!

    I'm doing more indoor things.... ZUMBA 2.25 hours yesterday! I still need to do 2 5k's before Sunday, as well as Pilates.... ZUMBA just has my attention right now, I have the BEST instructor! She is wonderful & helps me when I need it! Also dancing for a flash Mob! I have 1 coming up on Monday & need to REALLY learn the dance, this time! Again, I LOVE it!

    Plus of course living life & working! I am SO blessed to have all this energy after releasing 46 pounds!!!! YES!

    You sparkle & I am so happy to have you in my life!

    Glad you got your sun back. I also track everything I put in my mouth. When I am thinking about dinner, I look where I'm short (protein, carbs, fiber, fat) to decide what to eat.

    Hooray for sun!! Yep, it's pretty here now, too, after a foggy morning.

    And, yes, hooray for the food tracker. I track every day, too, and do share my trackers. However, there is one bad practice (I won't give it the power of a habit) I am going to avoid. From time to time I have a great day, hitting all my nutritional goals. And then I eat one more thing and don't put it in the food tracker, knowing it will take me over on sodium or calcium or fiber or calories or carbs or several of them. So my trackers have been better than I have been. I want to be inspired by you to track it -- no matter what -- so that I know for real what I've been eating.

    Thanks for being a great role model!! I also want to be like you in one more way. I want my splurges to be with family and friends, not late at night by myself after hubby goes to bed.

    Would you mind pointing some of that warm sunshine towards New England ? It was a balmy 8 degrees when I got up this morning ! brr.....

    You know, I've been craving an omlett recently. I should pick up some eggs this weekend. Great idea !

    I use the tracker at, a bit more user friendly for me.
    Tracking your food is a great way to stay on plan - who wants to log that square of chocolate or piece of candy, to much hassle, right?
    I know I do best when I use the tracker but I get lazy at times...

    I always always always track every thing I eat.
    I stopped sharing a few years ago when I got a string of unwanted advice but maybe I'll open it up again.

    I track but I don't share. I also have a fitbit and my SP tracker is synced u with the fitbit website. I love my fitbit
