The Weight Creep Up...

I feel like all I do is complain! Ugh

Todays weigh in 228.6

Now my muscle % is down from yesterday and my fat % is up ...

The reality check I need: I havent been moving enough (really Ive slowed down to almost nothing in the face off all my recent stress) and I havent been eating well.

So ... I can sit here and complain AGAIN or I can do something about it ...

Im taking a page from Pixie's book and STREAKING! If I have to post it on my feed - I have to do well... Thats what motivates me!

So ... heres to Day 1!!

    Thanks everyone .... so what everyones telling me is nto to get up and weigh myself for the second time today at 3:30pm? LOL JUST KIDDING!!

No no I get it ... I have become obsessed ugh ... Lifes been a bit nuts and I think its been a bit of a clutch!

Im going to do what you suggest Grace and wean down ... Tomorrows official weigh in day so Ill do that then ... Not until Monday - GASP! I can do it I can do it!

    Chick - you gotta put that scale away!

Checking daily (we've all been guilty) is a surefire way to just get frustrated from the daily fluctuations and toss it out the window - especially with all those high-tech ones (I have it too!) that show us our percentages, it's easy to be tempted to weigh-in all the time.

If you feel like you can't just immediately cut down to once a week, try first with every other day, then 2 times a week, until you are down to weekly. Or, if you do a chore once a week, say mopping the kitchen floor (that's just an example) put your scale in your mop bucket. That way you only see it when you go to do that chore and you won't feel compelled to use it more frequently.

    Keep pushing and keep up the great work. I know how frustrating it can be. I used to weigh every day and I would get a little obsessive. I am really trying to just weigh once a week at a consistent time to help get over that scale obsession. With gaining the last couple months I really did avoid the scale, but now that I am back on track I am going to try my best not to weigh until Saturday morning. Whatever you decide is best for you - try to remember how we fluctuate at times, days, etc. Keep up the great work!

    Tricky , tricky , Hypothalamus that little guy in our brain that control most of your body functions. When you stress your body your hypothalamus places your body in fight to flight mode - yep , it tells your body that you are in starvation mode and emoticon 's the process of weight loss - its a proven fact !! We all do it , just breathe , and another thing its been my experience that just before I lose a couple of pounds , I gain a couple , I believe that 's the way your body is getting ready to the fat - read my blog from yesterday - I speak from experience - Hugs K
