Day 21: horrible workout day!

Thursday, January 03, 2013

Hey everyone,

Have you ever just had a bad workout day? Well, I did today. I'm currently on Day 18 on Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, and I guess my body just didn't want to workout today. I kept getting bored and doing all of the modifications. I didn't even finish the video! By the time I got to circuit three, I decided I was done. It's not like I gave up. It's just that I got kinda bored. Maybe I'll finish it later in the day, but right now, I just want to go back to school and workout at the gym like I used to every day.

Also, on the bright side, I signed up for my first yoga class! It's on Sunday, and I can't wait! I'll write a blog of how it goes :) Have a great day everyone!

Are you doing all 3 levels every day? Do you have any other DVDs of Jillian's that you could do? No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism are great workouts, if you have them. They would definitely be a good way to break up the monotony of doing the same thing for 30 days. Just an idea.

I could never do any exercise for 18 days. I tend to keep my attention to exercise by doing different things during the week. Walking, kickboxing, Zumba, step aerobics. Whatever I am in the mood for I just do that. I get bored really quickly so I just mix things up. I have a large collection of DVD's so that helps a lot. Have fun at yoga class!

I have had days like that- and then I just come back later because I am too stubborn to end the day admitting I didn't finish my workout.

    Try, try, try again.
