I decided to join the January Jumpstart Fitness Challenge yesterday and I started off with a bang. I am still incredibly motivated. Yesterday, not only did I eat healthy, but also I went to the gym for a ridiculously long amount of time. Technically the challenge calls for a ten minute workout dvd and half an hour of cardio. I did about 45 minutes of cardio and 45 minutes of weight lifting instead. I feel like that fulfills the challenge's intentions, if not the exact requirements. I already packed my gym clothes to go to and run some more today. I do have tutoring until 6, but there is no reason why I can't get in a good workout also. I will say that I am a little sore, but I don't think it's anything that will put me at risk of hurting myself. I was down a pound this morning, but I am not going to attribute that to real weight loss.
I hope I can keep up this level of motivation because it is amazing! I need to join workout challenges more often.
