Happy New Year!

I'm slow to post today, not wanting to be another failed New Year's Resolution-er. I've looked back at my posts here recently and wow, talk about ups and downs!

I'm so happy to say, that I was able to join a gym near the end of November. Although I haven't really lost any weight, I have dropped a pants size (yippee!!) and I certainly feel better and more energized. I just looked at my log and I went to the gym 12 times last month, which is HUGE for me! I drastically reduced my soda intake, down from 10-12 per week to about 4 or 5 all last month. I realized the kids & I were still eating a lot of McD's, so I drastically cut that as well. I'm very happy with the changes I've made so far.

Right now, I'm focusing on menu planning so I don't grab the easiest and not-so-healthiest thing available. My husband had to go Gluten Free last summer, so I'm headed that direction as well. That is looking very difficult, but I'm trying to do in one babystep at a time.

My goal is to just keep working out. We're headed on our annual snowmobile trip in just over a month and I'd love to be a bit more comfortable on that sled wearing all that gear!
