It always bugs me when I see people looking at the New Year as a time to get motivated. It bugged me because I was that person who was doing stuff all year and New Year is no different. Well I am that person this year. I have been all over the board since my marathon end of October. I have run maybe 6 times and not been to the gym at all. So today I start over. I am doing this for me now. No more races scheduled. Now it gets harder because I don't have that race in the end to aim for.
We are still trying to sell our house which is stressful. We had an offer and they waited a week then decided they didn't want older house. So that left us to try to sell during the holidays which doesn't happen. Our offer on our new house is up Jan 15 so I needed to do something the next 15 days. I decided back to no alcohol and only whole foods. Instead of chips is carrots and hummus. I pulled out my cookbooks and made stuff out of Clean Eating diet book. I made grilled veggie frittata that I adored and this spicy peanut dressing for salad. OH soooo good. I aso made it to the gym for an hour.
Hope everyone's 2013 is better than the last year, I know mine will be. Back to Basics.
