Snow, snow and more snow. What a beautiful thing to see out the window. Yesterday as I sat at my desk at work, I watched what looked like a snow globe working outside. People stopped by to see the snow, and complained about it, since the drive home wasn't going to be very easy. I for one love the snow. I don't like to drive in it, but I just love how pretty it is. It covers our world in a fresh blanket of white, and we get to make foot prints, snow angels, snowmen, forts, and anything else you can think of doing with snow. We only have it for about 4 months of the year, so it's fun while it lasts.

The snow makes me think of how we are given so many chances to start fresh if we need to. We can start fresh with every decision we make. We can start fresh with every bite we take, every exercise we do, every movement we make.

Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water - 96 yesterday
~ 10,000 steps - 10k yesterday
~ 25 flights of stairs (this seems like a lot but I only use the upstairs bathroom at home, and that helps alot!) 9 yesterday
~ journal every bite - I try to write before I bite, and am finding success with this method
~ smile at least once an hour - we all need joy and happiness in our lives!
~ earn 75 Sparkpoints - 83 yesterday
~ eat clean today
~ learn something new today and remember what I learned - I learned that leaving work an hour late isn't a good idea because of the traffic at that time of day!
~ Floor exercises - 15 regular push ups, 25 modified pushups, 200 crunches, 100 abductors, 100 adductors, 75 second plank
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff

    I love visiting you blogs everyday and seeing the commitment you have made to list your goals. You are so right in that each day is a new day....a day to renew our commitment to eat right and exercise.

    What a terrific idea to only use the upstairs bathroom! I also try to drink a lot of water and that would get my flights of stairs skyrocketing.
