I recently discovered this workout on the Internet. I have heard a lot of success stories and good reviews so last night I went out and got it! I tried it out today and its pretty tough, but with the kind of results people have been getting I was expecting that. Keep in mind im a beginner and haven't excercised properly for years! I found myself cheating quite a bit (taking breaks and finishing the excercises before they were done) and I didn't get as good of a workout as I should have. Because of this ill just count today's workout as a "practice" one and start with te shred tomorrow. Because I'm such a beginner I think I might do a little bit more than 10 days each level, maybe 15? I'm not sure yet I"ll see how I'm feeling at the end of the 10 days. Other than that the video was really good. I was expecting her to be more rude and tough but she was very encouraging and pushy-in a good way. The workout went by surprisingly fast! I'm planning on doing the Ripped in 30 after this but I don't want to get too ahead of myself, baby steps!
Along with the workout I am sticking to a 1200 calorie diet. I was also planning on maybe adding the Couch To 5k Challenge but my treadmill hasent been used in a while and is covered by storage boxes
(it's in the basement which is undergoing renovation so there is no other space for these boxes.) I will try to take care of that some how.
