I broke the Rules

Thursday, January 03, 2013

We went to the cinema yesterday to see The Hobbit Unexpected Journey

It was brilliant the film it is amusing in parts and full of action and the special effects are amazing.

Now I know I should not have done this and it was breaking all the rules, instead of buying popcorn or sweets to eat during film I did something naughty. I diced up an apple added a little lemon juice and put it in a zip lock snack bag. I put it in my handbag and got it out when the lights went down.
No fizzy drinks for me I chose a bottle of water that I bought at the cinema.

So I was very naughty taking food into the film that was not bought at the cinema but I did buy the water there.
DH munched his way through a bag of M&M's and a bottle of coke neither of which tempted me. The M&M's are chocolate and I cannot eat chocolate, it still tastes super sweet with a bitter after taste to me and I never have been a big a fan of coke.

So the trip to the cinema was successful as I did not have anything that I should not have had except that I broke the rules, that bit was the naughty part.

Today is my hospital appointment and that means having lunch out, so if I can I will go for a soup or sandwich. Dinner is in the crockpot already (08:34) so it will be all cooked when we get home.
Day 3 of the Jumpstart exercises have been done so after being a little naughty yesterday breaking the rules I am being good today.

Even though technically naughty, good job for you. My son and I are looking forward to seeing that movie, so far on the days that we planned to go it snowed so decided not to then, am hoping this weekend will be good weather and that it is still playing in 3D at the cinema we want to see it at. Glad to hear you have enjoyed it.

Saw the movie before Christmas . It was awesome. Can't wait to see the next one. I also bring my own food in a lot. They already charge so much just to watch a movie. Then the price to buy snacks is just ridiculous

I never pay for anything at the cinema and always take my own. It saves so much money. Glad you enjoyed the film. We've not seen it yet but want to.
Hope the appointment goes well. Fingers crossed for you.
