Day 2!!
I know the timestamp on this says it's the 3rd, but that's because I just got home from work at 11:40, and I had to eat a little dinner and stuff...anyway, just wanted to make sure and check in.
Today's meals were pretty good...I have to figure out how to track one thing--the sweet and sour pork stir-fry I made the other night. It's a SparkRecipe, but I used Splenda brown sugar instead of regular (it's actually really tasty, btw--we've used it in everything from chocolate chip cookies to the stir fry). The only thing on today's menu that wasn't planned and didn't fit the diet was 2/3 of a bottle of Pepsi, because I had a massive headache and it was the only caffeinated soda available. Good news: it helped, and I didn't drink the whole 20 oz bottle; Bad news: it's all caloric and soda-y.
I really don't drink much soda, I realized...I drink carbonated flavored water, bottled water (the tap water here has such a high sulfur content, it gave me all kinds of stomach cramps and it was awful), and homemade unsweetened iced green tea.
Anyhoo. I finally got the chicken breast baked and took a salad to work...and resisted the Boston Market the bf grabbed on his way home from work. (BACON IN THE MASHED POTATOES?? GEEZ!!) So, I'm definitely under 1500 calories for the day.
Tomorrow: work 9am-2pm, then cleaning the apartment...and I'm taking some time to make some real progress on my current book, 'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac.

G'night, all!

'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac is my favorite book, love Kerouac. I like Splenda brown sugar, I don't think the calorie count is much different when used in a recipe, and if you go over just a little than in your mind you know you use the Splenda.

Good luck with your program, sounds like you got it all together.

Have a happy healthy 2013, and keep the sparks
