I have hated sauerkraut my entire life. I have always thought it was nasty...
While I was in the shower on New Year's Eve, I all of a sudden developed a craving for it.
Sauerkraut is one of my new favorite foods. I am now in love with it. I now know what I was missing all of those years. That stuff is amazing and soo low in calories! Yumm!!
Support group was good tonight. We had a local Yoga teacher come in and talk to our group and also go over some great relaxation and stretching exercises with us. I have been thinking about taking Yoga, but I am still not sure. The only time I am able to in on Monday (at my gym and the wellness center) but I also have Personal Training on Monday. I am not sure if I can do both. I will have to consult with Olivia, my trainer.
I went to the gym today before group. I am pretty proud of myself. I accomplished 2 things.
1. After my warm up on the ARC Trainer, I went over to the free weights section where all of the boys were lifting, and joined right in. I claimed a bench and some dumbbells and did my thing. I did several arm exercises, and was overall pleased with my workout.
2. After my ST, I went to the treadmill and did intervals. The biggest thrill is I was able to run, as in maintain a speed of 5/mph, for 0.25 miles. Yes! I ran for 1/4 of a mile without stopping!!! I don't think I have been able to run that far since I was 12!
All in all... it was an awesome day!!
