Second Day Of New Year's Resolutions ...

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

emoticon The 2013 new year has arrived and I will begin a new start on being the person I wish to become. I'll be daily posting some of the activities and events of my day. Hopefully this will help me to visualize the accountability of my resolutions.
emoticon I started my day with a "Good morning!" to God and then spent some time outside with the birds and some animals.
I had a simple but healthy breakfast and did some stair stepping.
I made a couple of phone calls to family and friends and made some plans to see them later this week.
I sent out mail and email to some friends and started catching up with my Sparkfriends. (A couple hours worth)
I did some laundry for a family without water this week. They all took showers at my home also.
The dh and myself kept grandchildren until their mom got off work and picked them up around 10 pm.
The dh and I did some research for movies in the area and made a date to go see one tomorrow (just the two of us).
I maintained myself when the kitchen sink pipes broke making a mess of the kitchen and me. I didn't even retaliate when accused of causing the event (totally made me hurt inside while giving the appearance of calm). Whew! That was a tough one!
I told everyone who was in my home today that I love them.
I spent time with some ferral cats and even got one to let me pet it this evening.
I read some Bible scripture and did some contemplation over them.
emoticon or emoticon or emoticon How do you think I did today?

You did great today - you were really busy & did well when the pipes broke in your kitchen sink.

It is a good reminder for us to tell our family and friends we love them.
