Just flew to California over New Year's to start a residency program in PNF (more advanced PT treatment techniques). I'm living with a bunch of very health conscious, athletic, fabulous people. Before I came I told myself that in addition to learning this will also serve as a 3 month "health spa" vacation where I would get back to the basics of more healthy living away from the stress and habits of my usual life. Things have not been so good over the past year healthwise - after I ran my Warrior Dash and walked my Avon Walk for Breast Cancer I basically stopped exercising and went back to eating whatever whenever. But I still remember what good food is and how to make a balanced meal -- 2 days in a row of almost perfect nutrient balances and within my range! Hoping to continue riding the positive influence around me and finding the strength to continue when I go back East in April.
