First of all, I want to thank everyone who commented on my blog yesterday. I'm sorry that I don't have time to thank you individually. It warms my heart to have so much support and encouragement from my Spark friends.
Today I went back to work after having 3 days off. I had a busy day with work. I work from home as a telemarketer setting appointments. I start work at around 9:30 a.m. and end my work day at 9:30 p.m. I take breaks throughout the day, so I'm not actually working a 12 hour shift. It does feel like it at times though. I do try to get up every hour. I usually get up and do a 5 minute clean up around the house.
I also take a break to walk the dogs. I have been on my walking the dog streak for 104 days so far. We have been just walking them once a day around the block. As one of my goals this month, I want to walk them twice a day. I was planning on walking them once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Today we didn't get to walk them in the morning. I got in the afternoon walk. Then when I got done working at 9:45 p.m., we took them for a walk around the block for the second time. The air was much cooler and someone had a fire going, so it was a little harder for me. I have asthma and the cold temps and smoke make it more difficult to breath. I did make it and I'm proud of that.
For supper tonight, we tried two new recipes from Spark People; sesame chicken and a fried rice, which isn't really fried. They were both very good. My son picked out the recipes. It sure makes it easier for me when he picks out the recipes. That makes it easier for me. He is such a picky eater. That is one thing I won't miss when he leaves home. lol
As for my other goals, I got in 12 cups of water, which is easy for me. I love water. I got in all my fruits and veggies. The big one is that I avoided processed foods today. Plus, I did my strength exercises today.
Tomorrow will be my first day back to doing a Walk Away the Pound workout. I think it's been a month or more since I did one. I have quite a few to choose from. I think I will start with the One Mile Express Walk.
