Day 2 & I almost blew it.

Yesterday being January one seemed like the perfect day to rekindle my spark. I did so good all day yesterday. If I had only gone to bed at 10:30 with my hubby instead of readng a little bit longer I would have avoided the late night snack of toast and the rest of the bottle of wine in the fridge. Instead of letting this added snacks set me back I just added it into my yesterdays food count ( One of my goals is to track everything I eat and do it honestly) and start over fresh this morning.

This morning I had a great breakfast of apples and oatmeal.... I ran a little bit late for work but was determined to take time to be healthy. Then this afternoon I almost blew it again.... Lunch came and went & I did not take time or felt that I could to get lunch and I did not pack anything. I got home at 5:00 p.m. and was pulled between bagging eating anything till dinner or eating something with lots of fat or carbs. GRRR emoticon Instead I looked in the fridge and decided to be creative.... One scrambled egg a bit of cheese and some diced tomatoes rolled into a tortilla. Voila Lunch and I still have room for dinner. Which is going to be late since hubby is till not home at 7:00p.m. Now If I just go to bed instead of the late night reading I may make it through day #2 under my calorie count.

Even with all my messes ups yesterday I managed to loose almost 2 pounds it was probably all water weight but at least it feels like I accomplished something. Keep sparking .

    Congrats on the tracking! I find that if I do nothing else, tracking will help set me back on course.
