Kids are driving my crazy!!

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

Okay so I am trying to get things in order to go back to school and my kids will not motivate. I am so frustrated. My 17 year old son is eating us out of house and home. Doesn't think of others. And won't listen. He does two chores and think that is sufficient enough for chores. Now as for my 15 year old daughter she won't motivate. I will be so glad when school is back in session.

I hope things get better for you!!

You are a saint... seriously! I don't think I would be able to deal with two teenagers. I would have locked them away by now!

I hear you. My kids were all driving my crazy until school got back in session yesterday, and they are all under the age of six. :) Back into the routine has helped greatly.

The 17 year old is old enough to get a job! If I were in your position, he would be made to get one and start paying his portion of the groceries. None of that money would be play money until his responsibilities had been met. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. There is ONE thing I hate more than disobedience, and that is ingratitude. Call me harsh. I don't care! He is going to be smacked really hard with reality once he's out on his own.

Only 2.5 more years until my daughter is a teenager. *cries*
