I struggled a bit on a few of my goals yesterday but am back on track today. One of the most difficult for me is planning my meals in advance. I normally have chicken, lean meats and fish in the freezer, so very often dinner is a piece of protein, a potato, and a vegetable. Simple.
But I'm trying to eat less animal products. So I'm struggling a bit. I went to the grocery store yesterday, today, and probably will go tomorrow. This weekend I'll try to put together a WEEKLY menu so I can reduce trips to the store. Am I only person who goes into the store for one thing and comes out $50 poorer? (ha ha)
We walked 8 miles today and I feel good. We have to walk slowly! Eight miles equalled 18,000 steps so you can I was taking a lot more steps per mile.
I meditated today which is another really difficult thing for me to find time to do; I'm not one to be still OR quiet! I also listened to a podcast "Inside Out Weight Loss."
I feel good about where I am today!
