I'm quite busy with my 3 kiddos and I have often used that as an excuse not to exercise in the past. It is extremely difficult to fit in more than 20 minute workouts and I have long been under the impression that that just wasn't enough time to make it worth it. Before kids I used to do hour long training workouts. In college, I would go to the gym for an hour than go on a 4 mile run. As much as I would like to be in the shape I was in during my college days, I need to come to grips with just doing what I can to be healthy. That's going to require some creativity with my exercise routine. Fitting in 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there really adds up.
In a year, I probably won't be a svelte, muscular, marathon running exercise guru, but I probably will be a healthy, energetic,
running mommy. And I'm okay with that.
