Home again...

So here I sit, on the couch, seems to be my routine when I am at home. That definitely needs to change...I will work on getting more active slowly at night...I need to get back to sleeping right before I go changing up my night schedule.

Anyways, there was no being called into work today, so I helped clean up the house, and run errands.

I did, however, take the plunge and step on the scale again...the first time since Christmas. So, on December 25, I topped the scale at 210.... This morning, eek, I weighed in at 205.8........ Yes, please take a second to repeat that.....205.8...... That is a negative 4.2 change! How amazing is that? Even with all my bad eating over the holidays, I still managed....so excited...

I have an appointment with my nutritionist on Friday...I'm very excited to tell her about all the changes that I'm have made....maybe with luck, I can lower that number a little more...

I'm 5.8 pounds away from my garmin watch! I am totally ordering tonight...it is such motivation!

I went to a zumba class tonight....60 minutes, barely any sweat...achey and tired...less than stellar calorie burn...only 600, it used to be closer to a thousand..but oh we'll, it is still more than on the couch...

During my down time today, I went down town and went to the little village thing to check out running spots...the sidewalks are plowed but there is still packed snow, I just don't know if I could run on it....that being said, there is a road that encompasses the town park...it's plowed and there isn't any real traffic on it....I'm thinking that one of these days, I am going to take my shoes out and see if it is doable....

I can easily stash water along the road to drink from safely...I'll have my car close and since there aren't many people out in the winter, I shouldn't have to worry....sounds like a good deal to me!


Finished supper, ate a little too much pasta but still under my calorie intake for the day! Need to up my water and take my supplements yet....considering a Tylenol pm to tryptophan make me go to sleep earlier tonight...

    The colder it is, the less water you'll need. Winter running is awesome! Congrats on your weight loss and getting out for Zumba. Keep up the great work!

    Grats on the achievements. If you are properly hydrated, you should be fine on your runs till they start getting long. I knew you were due for a breakthrough. Keep it up! emoticon
