Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again...

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

The kids are back to it already and here I am. I had a few resolutions last year. Several didn't amount to anything, but one, tracking my food, brought me a new way of life. I guess they say there are only so many seeds in an apple but you can't count the apples in a seed. It could be infinite, or none. No way to know except planting. Let me see if I can narrow it down to five:

I want to recapture my drawing talent so I'm going to do some sketching each day.
I want to work on one of my books regularly.
I want to create some orderliness in my home.
I want to continue with my physical health, and build my strength and cycle calories.

I guess 4 will have to do.

I've been getting started on working on my book lately!

I feel you on the back to school thing... I'm SO ready for them to be out of my hair!

How will I survive the summer?

What an inspiring and moving post. I love the image your words bring to mind. The same is true for our kids as for the apple and the seed. Never in my life would I have even in my wildest dreams have imagined how my son would turn out. (I could quote a pretty AWESOME source and say - "This is my son, in whom I am well pleased."
