I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I can't believe it is already over!
WOW!!! I am so far behind on my Spark stuff!!! The 11 days off of work were AMAZING yet crazy!! Key points - Christmas was great! Our reception was AWESOME! I love my family, and my new family! My dad and brother performed a song together, and my brother did one alone. I cried. Yep. All over. We had a great night surrounded by great people. Fantasticly amazing.
As all of us are doing, I have been reflecting on 2012 and thinking big for 2013. What did 2012 bring me? Lots of amazing things:
-Married my best friend
-Ran my first race, then did another!
-Worked out consistantly - IN THE MORNING!
What do I want to do in 2013? I have lots of goals. Good thing there are 365 days for me to work on accomplishing it all!
1) Reach my goal of 125lbs by March 1
2) Run a 15k on March 3
3) Run a half marathon (Date TBD)
4) Incorporate random acts of kindness into my life on a regular basis
5) Pay off credit card by July 1
6) Read more
7) Commit to tidying up 1 room each evening to mantain a clean home
8) QUIT SMOKING - once and for all!!!!
And how am I going to accomplish all of this?? I am going to keep my goals in mind every day. I am going to revisit my goals weekly to keep them in check. Yesterday Scott and I registered for the Hot Chocolate 15k on March 3. I'm nervous but excited! We need to get to training! I will be hitting the gym again starting Monday. I am giving myself a couple of days to adjust to getting back to work. I am feeling good today, so maybe I can do some 30DS at home.
Everything else will be a constant work in progress. Scott and I did quit buying cartons of cigarettes, and are using our e-cigs more. I hope that the one last little smoke in my purse is the last real one I have. I hope to depend on my e-cig from here on out and slowly tapper the nicotine level down to none.
With the money our friends and family gave us at the reception we will be able to pay off my wedding ring set and then I can focus on my credit card to pay that off before moving on to Scott's (smallest balance first!). Hopefully this will be our year to knock out some debt.
Overall, I just want to become a better person. A better friend, a better wife, better daughter and sister. Not that I have been doing a bad job by any means, but I'd like to manage my time better for myself and those that mean the most to me. This means kicking some unhealthy habits and spending time on healthier activities and more time with those important people.
Anyway, I have it in writing now so that I can reflect again in one year!! I wish I had written it down last year (if I did I don't know where it is!!).

EDIT: I forgot to mention this amazing fact - I weighed in on 12/31 and had not gained a pound this holiday season! I am afraid it was a fluke, but I will weigh again tomorrow to verify! Either way.... I'm feeling squishy, I need to get back to it!
