Whole 30 Day: ONE

Ok, I'm well on my way today. I'll most likely update this entry later in the day, but here is how it is planned so far:
Breakfast: coffee, Swirly Quiche (from Practical Paleo) with fresh salsa and avocado
Lunch: albacore tuna made with homemade mayo and hot sauce, cucumbers and jicama
Snack: (or part of lunch) apple
Dinner: Portabello Fajitas (own recipe, subbing coconut aminos for the soy sauce) with asparagus on the side
Note: my first attempt at mayo failed last night - I think I either mixed it too long, or the
blender got too hot. Either way the mayo 'broke' so I have a sad olive-oil-with-white-crap-in-i
t that I'm eating. Because I am too cheap to just throw it out, and there is no way to fix it. I'll try again next week.
UPDATE: Holy random cravings, Batman! In addition to what I've listed as my "menu" I also had, in no particular order: a pear, mac nuts, coconut chips, almonds...and have been craving all sorts of random stuff. I think from my recent NYE indulgence (dip and eggnog- not together!) and I have a slight headache, but I think that's weather related.
UPDATE THE SECOND: NomNomPaleo (website) is doing a post-along for this round of W30, and she talked about homemade mayo today AND linked to an LA Times article that shows how to fix your broken mayo. Let's see if it works! (it still tasted OK but a bit oily in my lunch)
