Goal Setting

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

I read the blog I wrote last year with my 2012 goals and I did not meet any of them, really! The only goal I met in 2012 was meeting Susie face to face! While that was a worthy goal and a great one met, the other ones were important for my health as well and I did not meet them. Soooo, I'm making it as simple as possible, because I want to meet some this year, so babysteps is the way! Below are my goals, I will re-evaluate once I meet them and add more. I will also try updating at least once a week on these...

1. Make reading my Bible and spending time with God a priority
2. Work back up to drinking 8+ cups of water/day
3. Start a streak of exercising 10-15 minutes a day, minimum

Good goals! I agree it's nicer to set smaller goals and feel the success of actually reaching them. It can be so discouraging not meeting goals, so it's important to set ourselves up for success!

Let's see a lot of this: emoticon this time next year!

Baby steps!! Yes. I 100% believe that we must set goals that allow us to focus on creating habits. Good for you Shannon!
