So far today, I have said good bye to all the relatives visiting, cleaned and refreshed the guests rooms, cleared out the refrigerator, and taken out chicken to cook for dinner. I've tracked my breakfast, and chalked up over 1000 points on my fuel band.
Tracking is really hard - I just can't usually find the will to write everything down, or measure things before I eat them. But I measured my lo-fat cream cheese, for my half bagel at breakfast, and that was easy to track. So, I am off to a good start today.
With all the sweets out of the house, the other part of this challenge should be easier. And having these two things to focus on makes staying on track with other healthy habits all the more likely.
I weighed on Dec 31, and found that I gained 3 lbs over the holidays. I will weigh in next Monday, and once a week after that as I work to get back to where I was, and beyond.
My ultimate goal is to lose the last 20 lbs that have been dogging me forever.
