Not happy it's another day that is too cold for a walk with my little Elizabeth. And it looks like it will be until Monday when the windchill increases to our minimum of 20-25 degrees. So need to break out some Zumba, Kickboxing, and some sparkpeople videos, plus some strength training. Got to stay motivated in this cold weather. Which is very hard to do. Need to stay warm. Maybe we'll bundle up long enough to play in the snow for a short bit. Happy Wednesday....

I do Leslie Sansone walking DVD's and they give you a great workout. When it is too cold to go out, that is what I do for exercise.

There's a video called "Walk Away the Pounds" that my mom has that's decent for indoor walking. Maybe you can find it online for days when you feel like walking and can't?

my toddler and I march in place or march around the house. She thinks its running, and if I hold my WiiMote my WiiFit tracks it as running.

I can't run, doctor advised not to until I have more tests done on my heart and such. Lungs can't take it either. I'm only good for short distance intervals like in baseball which is a bummer. Right now I'm trying to work on when weather cooperates walking 4x a week, 30-60 minutes, usually 3-4 miles. Plus kickboxing 3 times a week 10-20 minutes, and zumba 10-20 minutes 3 times a week. And some strength training whether videos or on my own everyday, minimum of 20 minutes there. Got the plans, just wish it was warmer. Thanks....

Did you ever try running in winter? To my surprise, the feeling of cold goes away very quickly.

Otherwise, I love that you have many indoor alternatives to make exercise happen!
What is your weekly target for exercise?
