The liquid diet begins

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

I am scheduled for surgery RNY on Jan 15, 2013 and begin the liquid diet to shrink liver today! I am excitedly anticipating and gratefully have a lot of support from my spouse who had Same surgery in 2008. Surgery: Jan 15, 2013 with Dr Miles, St Vincent's East Birmingham Alabama, Center for excellence. Butterflies yesterday when I cleaned out the junk and foods I can't eat the next two weeks. Praying even now to prepare the surgeon and his team to have kingdom knowledge in the practice of their skill aIn completing my surgery! I am very much at peace about the decision and plan. Share my happiness and please don't judge. Each of our journeys are different. emoticon emoticon emoticon

What an exciting step in your WLS journey!!!

I had RNY 10/8/12 and when I started my pre-op liquid plan I was sooooo excited because my surgery was FINALLY happening!

Focus on and enjoy each day! You deserve it!

I'm looking forward to sharing your journey with you!

Good luck! You need to do what is right for you. Don't worry about others. Stay positive. Keep focused. It's not an easy path no matter which one we follow to get to our goals. But you are now one step closer. Always remember that you have your family, friends and SparkFriends praying for you. Keep up the good work!

I come in agreement with you that the surgeons and the team will perform to their God-given abilities. I pray the angels of God will be present with you during this surgery. Also, the Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter, will be with you as well. I pray God's strength to you as you prepare for this surgery. God bless!
